In his role as an Analyst Intern, Allan supports the private equity team by conducting various forms of qualitative and quantitative research, performing detailed analyses, and handling other due diligence tasks. He also contributes to the creation of presentations, memos, and documents related to vendors, purchasers, senior executives, and Investment Committee presentations.  

Previously, Allan worked as an accounting co-op student for one of the largest full-service independent accounting firms in western Canada, during which time he was responsible for preparing various compilations and aiding in reviews and audits. Allan has also explored his own entrepreneurial pursuits by co-founding a landscaping company in 2020 that has successfully operated and expanded the business over four seasons.  

At the University of Alberta, Allan has taken on several leadership roles. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Operations and Finance in the University of Alberta Cooperative Education Students’ Association, holds the position of Vice President Academic in the University of Alberta Accounting Club, and is an active member of the U Alberta JDC West Finance case team.  

Beyond his professional and academic endeavours, Allan enjoys playing soccer, socializing, and savoring a wide variety of foods. Allan also takes pleasure in participating in case competitions, and it was through this involvement that he established a connection with the KV Capital team.
