As a senior analyst with the Real Estate Debt team, Amaan analyzes, values, and structures mortgage investments across diverse asset classes in Canada. Amaan is well-versed in various debt structures including CMHC financing, pari-passu loans, A/B loans, mezzanine financing, and bridge financing.
Upon completion of his Bachelor of Commerce with distinction and Certificate in Real Estate from the University of Alberta, Amaan gained experience at both public and private institutions before joining KV Capital’s Real Estate Debt group. Over his career, Amaan has been involved in structuring and underwriting loans in excess of $500M, including contributing to the underwriting and funding of KV Real Estate Debt’s largest loans to date. Amaan is also a CFA Charterholder and a RECA Licensed Mortgage Associate.
In his free time, Amaan enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his dog.
