Jarrod is an analyst at KV Capital, supporting both the Real Estate Debt and Real Estate Equity Partners teams. In his role, he assists with underwriting, valuing, and structuring real estate investments, assessing and securing financing for development and construction projects, analyzing prospective investment opportunities, and managing active portfolios.

Jarrod brings a strong academic foundation to his role, holding a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Financial Risk Management from the University of Connecticut. During his academic career, he was consistently a dean’s list student and also received the ACHA Krampade All-American Scholars award while competing at the NCAA Division I hockey level. Upon completion of his studies, Jarrod played professional hockey, including time in the minor league systems of the New Jersey Devils and the Calgary Flames, and internationally with the Cardiff Devils Hockey Club.

Within the financial services and real estate sectors, Jarrod has gained expertise in sales, client service, and risk management, specifically with previous roles in homebuilding and insurance. Additionally, he has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen through his own consulting business, developing virtual and on-ice training programs for elite aspiring hockey players.

Jarrod is actively involved in his community as an ambassador for KidSport Calgary and Edmonton, participating in events and initiatives that support youth sports accessibility. In his personal time, he enjoys golf, hiking, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
