Michael joined KVC as a Senior Analyst in 2024 and brings a highly valuable, diverse, skillset from his previous roles in both private and conventional lending to our then CREF team and our Calgary office. Michael now serves as an Associate Director of Origination on the Real Estate Debt team, where he structures and negotiates complex deals to optimize outcomes for clients and stakeholders. With a diverse background spanning major asset classes, Michael has underwritten $2 billion in loan volume.
His noteworthy contributions have been acknowledged through the receipt of two quarterly performance awards, as well as recognition in his previous role for propelling the Calgary real estate markets group to its highest loan volume growth on record.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He actively participates in charitable initiatives such as the Street Saviours Outreach Society where he supports individuals overcoming addictions and mental health-related challenges, as well as the Calgary Food Bank.
In his time away from the office, Michael enjoys hockey, golf, and bonding with friends and colleagues.
