As an Analyst, Funding, Nicholas is responsible in supporting timely loan funding by reviewing funding conditions, preparing draws, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring loan advances are accurately structured to reflect key metrics such as LTV and LTC. He is also a part of occasional credit analysis, review of financing proposals, and preparation of investor funding packages.

Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta before transitioning into finance, beginning his career in accounting and later moving into commercial banking. He spent four years in the mid-market group underwriting credit facilities for businesses, all while working towards completing his CFA Charter, a milestone he considers his proudest achievement and a defining step in successfully transitioning from engineering to finance.

Away from work, Nicolas enjoys staying active at the gym, travelling to new places, and closely following the Oilers and the NBA and NFL.
